She is responsible for shaping the company’s vision, driving both short- and long-term strategy, and leading its evolution into a consultancy that unites strategy, marketing, and management under one roof.
In her dual role as CMO of The Black Dog Group and Principal of Black Dog Marcom, Liana leverages her deep expertise in brand storytelling, communications, and marketing strategy. A former journalist, PR practitioner, and corporate marketer, she has built and led multiple businesses and understands firsthand the challenges organizations face in scaling their message and impact.
Today, she helps companies of all sizes grow by developing creative, structured solutions to their most pressing marketing and communications needs — ensuring every initiative moves beyond ideas to measurable outcomes.

As Chief Operating Officer of The Black Dog Group, Phillip Henry brings more than 20 years of experience in the information technology industry — spanning both software and infrastructure — where he supported and led cross-functional teams across multiple industries. At The Black Dog Group, he oversees the company’s daily operations, aligning people, processes, and strategy to ensure smooth delivery and scalable growth.
Phillip is known for pairing his analytical management style with a pragmatic, solutions-driven approach. His expertise lies in designing and implementing processes that reduce overhead, optimize resources, and deliver results efficiently.
As Principal of Black Dog Management, the project management arm of The Black Dog Group, Phillip helps clients address their most pressing project and program needs. He specializes in creating clarity, mitigating risks, and building alignment among teams — ensuring initiatives move forward quickly and effectively.
